About iGarden and Pool Controls

iGarden is a robotics brand whose tagline is “Artful Living Technology”, and the K Series is its range of cordless pool cleaners. In Australia, the range is supplied by Pool Controls, a local company that also provides service and support. Every iGarden cleaner is built around three ideas:

  • Convenience: cordless, easy to start and easy to lift out
  • Efficiency: AI-Inverter technology for longer runtimes between charges
  • Coverage: floor, walls and waterline cleaned in one go

Why choose a cordless pool robot?

  • No cable to tangle, trip over or snag on pool furniture
  • Quick to set up: place it in the water, pick a mode and press start
  • Cleans the waterline, where oils and scum build up
  • Climbs walls, steps and slopes
  • Schedule cleans with the AI Timer and control it from your phone
  • Lower running costs than many pressure and suction cleaners, since there’s no pump to run (see pool pumps if you want to compare)

The iGarden K Series range

  • iGarden K60: the entry model. Up to 6 hours of floor-only runtime and suits pools up to 6 x 12 m.
  • iGarden K80: longer runtime of up to 8 hours and a faster charge of 3.5 hours. Also suits pools up to 6 x 12 m.
  • iGarden K Pro 120: up to 12 hours of runtime, Clicker-assisted waterline retrieval and extra filtration. Suits pools up to 8 x 15 m.
  • iGarden K Pro 150: the flagship, with up to 15 hours of runtime and the most suction in the range. Suits large pools up to 10 x 18 m.

Technology that does the hard work

3D “S” Path navigation: plans the cleaning route in real time for even coverage

AI-Inverter technology: adjusts power use as it cleans, for longer runtimes

Turbo Mode: extra suction for leaves, hair and heavy debris

AI Timer: schedule cleans at 24, 48 or 72-hour intervals

Touchscreen and app control: choose modes and cycle times (set up before the robot goes in the water)

Auto-parking and self-draining lift-out: makes retrieval easy

4L debris basket: cleans more, empties less

Which iGarden suits your pool?

  • Choose the K60 or K80 for standard backyard pools up to 6 x 12 m
  • Choose the K Pro 120 for larger pools up to 8 x 15 m or heavier leaf loads
  • Choose the K Pro 150 for big pools up to 10 x 18 m or when you want the longest runtime

Suitable for most residential pools

iGarden cleaners work in in-ground and above ground pools and on concrete, pebblecrete, fibreglass, vinyl and tiled surfaces. They’re also suitable for saltwater pools with salt levels up to 5,000 ppm, so they pair well with a salt chlorinator.

Looking after your pool robot

Empty and rinse the filter basket after every clean, and recharge it fully every three months if it’s in storage. If you ever need a part or a repair, see our pool cleaner spare parts and robotic pool cleaner repairs service.

Frequently Asked Questions

All four are cordless, clean the floor, walls and waterline, and share the same core features, including 3D “S” Path navigation, Turbo Mode, an AI Timer and app control. The main differences are runtime and pool size: floor-only runtime is 6 hours (K60), 8 hours (K80), 12 hours (K Pro 120) and 15 hours (K Pro 150), and the K60 and K80 suit pools up to 6 x 12 m, the K Pro 120 up to 8 x 15 m and the K Pro 150 up to 10 x 18 m. The K Pro models also include a Clicker for easy retrieval and have more suction.

It depends on the model and mode. Floor-only runtimes range from 6 hours (K60) to 15 hours (K Pro 150), and full coverage cleans run from 3.5 to 8.5 hours. Times are tested in a clean 3 x 8 m pool, so real-world results vary.

Charge time depends on the model. The K60 takes about 5 hours on its 2A charger, and the K80 about 3.5 hours. The K Pro 120 takes about 6.5 hours and the K Pro 150 about 7 hours, both on a 3A charger.
