Decreases Calcium Hardness in swimming pools.

Benefits:

• Essential for water balance
• Helps protect pool surfaces and equipment
• Helps keep trace metals like iron and copper in solution, assisting in stain prevention

Active Constituent:

• 370g/L Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid Complex

Application

Dosage Rate: 1L will chelate calcium and thereby reduce the reading by 100ppm per 40,000 Litres.

If Total Hardness levels are very high (>800ppm), check whether the pool is a mineral pool or whether the source water is bore water. This is a maintenance product and may need to be reapplied to maintain the desired result, approximately every 5 weeks. The only true way to remove calcium content from your pool is by introducing fresh water for dilution. This product can contribute to the phosphate reading.
