Overview

The Kreepy Krauly VTX-3 is a compact suction-side pool cleaner that brings the same vortex-driven Triple Clean action as the VTX-7 to smaller pools, combining strong suction, gentle scrubbing and automatic skimming in one lightweight unit.

How It Moves

The VTX-3 moves backwards, with water flowing through its base and alternating between two drive tubes. The inertia created by water trapped in each tube powers the cleaner's lifting and propelling motion, which may cause a faint, audible "ticking" sound - this is normal operation.

How It Steers

Steering is handled by the cleaner's floatation assembly, which creates a Unique Crisscross Pattern to efficiently cross the pool floor. Combined with the Ultra Flex Hose, the cleaner is never restricted or redirected by its own hose.

How It Cleans

Working within your normal filter cycle, the VTX-3 cleans daily by gently skimming, scrubbing and vortex-vacuuming the pool surface. You may notice a temporary white cloud around the cleaner during early use - this is calcium build-up being gently lifted from the pool surface, not a fault.
