Overview

The Kreepy Krauly VTX-7 is a suction-side pool cleaner that delivers a triple cleaning action - suck, scrub and skim - across your pool's floor, walls and waterline, using vortex-driven vacuum power and a unique crisscross movement pattern.

How It Moves

The VTX-7 travels backwards, with water flowing through its base and alternating between two drive tubes. The kinetic energy generated by water trapped in each tube powers both the lifting and propelling motion of the cleaner - this may produce a faint, audible "ticking" sound during operation, which is normal.

How It Steers

Steering is controlled by the dive float assembly, which creates the Unique Crisscross Pattern. This lets the cleaner climb pool walls and move efficiently across the floor, while the Ultra Flex Hose ensures the cleaner is never restricted or redirected by its own hose.

How It Cleans

Working within your normal filter cycle, the VTX-7 gently skims, scrubs and vacuums the pool surface daily. Its oversized leaf scoop, combined with Smart-Skim, sends debris from the floor and waterline straight to your skimmer basket and filter. A temporary white cloud may appear around the cleaner during early use - this is simply calcium build-up being gently lifted from the pool surface as part of the scrubbing action.
