The AstralPool Solo 18 is the entry model in the Solo range, producing 18 grams of chlorine per hour. Designed for compact and courtyard pools, it is rated for pools up to 40,000 litres in tropical conditions, with a greater capacity in temperate climates. Like the rest of the range, it is made in Australia and certified to AS/NZS 3136.

The Solo is a standalone chlorinator designed specifically for chlorination, with no probes or connected equipment. This keeps installation and day-to-day operation simple. Settings can be adjusted using the unit's touch screen or from your phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing the chlorinator to run independently once configured.

The cell features titanium plates with a ruthenium and iridium coating, housed in clear acrylic so its condition can be checked without removing it. Polarity reverses every four hours to help shed scale, while All Seasons mode reduces chlorine production as the water cools rather than maintaining summer output throughout the year.
