The Intex Krystal Clear QS700 Plus is a saltwater chlorinator for above ground pools. It uses ordinary pool salt to produce chlorine at 7g/h, which eliminates bacteria and algae using low levels of natural chlorine that swimmers neither feel nor smell. It is designed for pools with a maximum capacity of 8,500L and connects to your filter pump.

How the Saltwater System Works

The Krystal Clear Saltwater System combines a two-step pool sanitisation process. A small amount of salt is dissolved in the pool water, and the chlorinator turns it into chlorine. The result is soft, fresh, clean water without the harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals, and water that is non-irritating to skin and eyes. The salt concentration is at freshwater level (approx. 950 ppm salinity), which protects your pool and the surrounding area.

Built to Look After Itself

The unit uses an enhanced titanium conversion cell with automatic self-cleaning, which fights scale build-up. It is also inexpensive to maintain, and it helps fight mucus, moss on the pool walls and floor, and green algae growth.

Easy to Monitor

The optimised digital control panel has a 4-digit LED display and updated warning lights so you can check the system at a glance. A salt concentration sensor and a water temperature sensor help monitor the system accurately.

Connects to Your Pump

The unit needs a filter pump to work, with a required filtration pump flow rate of 700 to 3,200 gal/h (2,650 to 12,112 L/h). Two adapters are included for easy connection to all Intex pumps and many non-Intex pumps with non-threaded 32mm and 38mm connections, or threaded 38mm connections.
